JC Lofenia, also known as Jean Claude Lofenia Mpoo, is a renowned painter from the Democratic Republic of Congo (DRC). Born on August 26, 1984, in Kinshasa, he continues to live and work in his home city.

As a contemporary artist, Jean-Claude Lofenia delves into themes such as political satire, eroticism, and social and religious parody.
